Even though I was born in Australia and have lived in several states in the U.S., I made California my home. My husband and I left the San Francisco Bay Area after many years and headed for Sacramento for that "city-in-the-country" lifestyle. We have enjoyed the numerous bike trails and water activities on the American River as well as day trips to nearby Lake Tahoe.
